About our founders:
Edgar Franz and his wife Sherry are seasoned educators who have taught common core, PYP/MYP. British Curriculum and Ontario curriculum in 7 countries internationally (and Canada) for the past 20+ years. Edgar has held positions as Athletic Director and Activities Coordinator in schools in Morocco, Germany, Cameroon, and has taught PE, Music, Learning Strategies and IBDP TOK in Korea, China, Egypt and Canada. He holds an MBA from York University in Toronto and an MEd from TCNJ in Princeton, New Jersey. Sherry did her teacher training at The Institute of Child Study at OISE, and got her second MEd at Queens University in Kingston. She has taught French, SEN, PYP and MYP classroom, Early Years and all Elementary levels. They have 2 children who have made it through the IB system, and are true 3rd culture kids who are living and working, respectively, in tech and in building, in exotic locations where they have achieved an admirable work-life balance
